New Delhi, May 15: Celebrities endorsing a cause is a cliché. It takes a lot more to believe in the cause and Lucky Ali did just that as he joined the outcry of the poor farmers for a better future.
Singer-actor Lucky Ali lent his voice for the cause of poor farmers from Rajasthan and Maharashtra on International Trade Fair Day on Sunday.
The children of these farmers have been reeling under a string of farmer suicides.
Said Ali, "I believe in the movement. I was in the fields of Gwalior where so many farmers had commited suicides. It's a learning experience."
The peaceful demonstration was part of a protest against World Trade Organisation's (WTO) policies.
