Mangalore, Apr 8: Popular Marathi and Hindi film actress Varsha Usgaonkar will be in the city attending the B V Baliga Memorial programme to be held on Sunday April 9.
Varsha who originally hails from Goa has now carved a niche for herself in bollywood with versatile roles. She had earlier shot to fame with her roles in two TV soaps, "Mahabharat" and "Zansi Ki Rani." But she loves and works more in both Marathi films as well as theatre shows.
Varsha will participate in the B V Baliga Memorial programme to be held in T V Raman Pai Hall. "Mulakhat", a meet the press programme too has been organized on the occasion. Shakuntala R Kini of Mangalore Akashvani will also interview the actress.
Thereafter, Varsha Usgaonkar will stage a Konkani music programme on the venue.
