New Delhi, Oct 8 (IANS): Five people, including a juvenile, of a gang of domestic servants were nabbed by Delhi Police for committing thefts at their employers' houses, an official said Tuesday.
"During investigation into a south Delhi's Saket area house theft case, a police team went and apprehended a juvenile from Kolkata last week," said a police officer.
On the juvenile's information, the other gang members - Divakar Malik, 27, his brother Bhaskar Malik, 25, Baidhar Dass, 39, and Manju Lata, 29 - were arrested from their hideouts in Kolkata, said the officer.
"The operation was completed last week," said the officer.
During interrogation, the arrested domestic helps disclosed they committed thefts in houses where they worked whenever they got an opportunity.
"The accused have confessed to their involvement in several theft cases in Delhi and Haryana's Faridabad area. We are verifying their statements," said the officer.
