Illegal transport of cattle leads to fight between two groups

Kundapur, Oct 8: On confirmed information, that cattle was being transported illegally in two vehicles, locals stopped the vehicles at Kenchi Bhimanapare in Herur grama which led to fights between two groups.

Rizwan, Mansur and Gangoli’s Shahil, Samimulla and Junaid were transporting five cows in their Omni and Maruti Eko car. The local people have stopped the vehicle, taken possession of the cows and complained to the police which has led to fights. Mohamed Rizwan, Mansoor and Samiulla are injured and have been hospitalized.

Kundapur DySP, C B Pail, circle inspector Sadashiva M and Byndoor inspector Sunil Kumar M S and Gangoli inspector Sampat Kumar have visited the place and conducted inspection.

Rizwan has lodged a counter complaint that when they bought five cows and were taking them in their vehicles on Sunday October 6, The vehicles were stopped at Kenji by Gunda, Surendra, Manju, Shivaraya, Bhoja, Raghu, Manjunatha, Manju Maski, Venkatu, Bhaskara, Raju Naika and Shekhara and assaulted them. They have also damaged the vehicles and threatened to kill them.
