Mangalore, Sep 28: Mohammed Ameen has been appointed as the trustee on the board of New Mangalore Port Trust for the term 2013-15 by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India.

He was recently re-elected as president of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mangalore for the second term 2013-14.
