Udupi: Thonse gram panchayath distributes scholarships to SC/ST students

Udupi, Sep 27: The 31st Thonse gram panchayath scholarship sourced from 25 percent of its funds was distributed to 60 Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students at the gram panchayath convention hall recently.

Gram panchayath president Nithyananda Kemannu presided. gram panchayath vice-president Sulochana, taluk panchayath member T M Rehmathula Thonse,  gram panchayath member Baskar Karkera, Ustad Sadik, Idris, Kusuma, Asha, Arun Fernandes, gram panchayath development officer and staff were present on the occasion.
