Bangalore: Koncab ‘Yuva Milan’ a grand success

Bangalore, Sep 23: Konkani Catholic Association, Bangalore, organized a half-day ‘Yuva Milan’ Konkani youth get-together on Sunday September 22 at KROSS Hall, near Da Costa Layout, St Thomas Town, here.

The event started with the prayer by Severine D’Silva and welcome message by Koncab president Ida Sequeira.

Large number of Konkani youths actively participated in this event and pledged to work for Konkani community and to build strong youth wing.

Fr Anil D’sa sdb, director of Don Bosco Youth Service was the main resource person and animator for the day who took special interactive session on team work and team building activities.

To help youngsters in career building and to motivate more catholic youths into civil service, job postings in government sector, Chris L Bernard, chief mentor of KROSS Institute of Social Service, took special session on the topic ‘Social change through civil services’. The initiative was taken under the guidance of Fr Peter Brank, director- KROSS (Karnataka Regional Organization for Social Service).

Yuva Milan concluded with a special youth Mass.

Koncab secretary Jhonas D’Souza thanked the chief guests, all supporters, Koncab EC team and the gathering.

The event was compered and coordinated by Godwin Castelino.
