Dhaka, Sep 15 (IANS): Two people died and 15 went missing after an overcrowded ferry with around 50 passengers sank in Bangladesh, police and fire services said.
Fire service official Abdur Rahman said around 35 passengers swam to the shore after the Saturday accident in Padma river, reports Xinhua.
Rescuers recovered the bodies of a child and a man. The tragedy took place in Rajshahi district, 256 km west of Dhaka.
