Mangalore, Feb 15: MP D V Sadanand Gowda signaled green to the Janshatabdi train running between the city and Mumbai via Madgaon on Wednesday February 15 morning at the city railway station.
Speaking on the occasion, he criticized the step motherly attitude of the railway department towards the state. He blamed the department for lack of facilities at the city station and other places. He strongly condemned the unnecessary delay in the starting train between Bangalore and the city and assured the gathered that he will try his level best to fix a particular date for starting the railway service on the Bangalore and city route during the coming session of the parliament.
"Now there are only two options. Either they have to start train between the city and Bangalore or else they should push me out of the parliament for protest," he added.
