Dubai, Feb 5: Mangalore Konkans Dubai missed their usual annual event last December but have the vision of planning a mega but totally different cultural event on May 12, 2006.

The organizers have not yet disclosed the essence or contents of the programme but indicated that "It's  kind of a programme which has never been held in Dubai. it will be a purely Konkani cultural entertainment day. Keeping a wider audience in mind, we are planning to give maximum entertainment for everyone who will be present at the show. With this kind of a programme in mind, we skipped our annual 'Family Fiesta', which is usually conducted in the month of December"

As recent success of the memorable Konkani drama 'To Mhaka Naka' is still fresh in the minds of people, Mangalore Konkans soon release the details of the progamme to daijiworld.com, which, as usual, is the official media for their all activities throughout the year
