Bantwal: VHP, Bajrang Dal decry SC ruling on religious structures

Bantwal, Aug 7: As per the Supreme Court orders, Bajana Mandirs, Temples, Temple entrances and others religious monuments which are located near the main roads will be removed. This action of the Supreme Court will hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus and will be strongly condemned by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrangdal, stated a media release.

This order was passed by the Supreme Court during BJP regime. But the then BJP chief minister did not implement it as it would create problems to Hindus. They blamed the Congress party for implementing this in order to attract minorities.

The removal of ban on cow slaughter has led to increase in illegal cattle slaughter and thefts. The Congress government has been negligent, they alleged.

    This order was passed by Supreme court when BJP was in power, but they didnot obey because it would hurt the feelings of Hindus. Then why they didnot go in apeal to Supreme court if it was affecting the feelings of some people? Now they are opposing the implementation of the order by the present govt. This shows VHP / BD donot value the courts or the democracy itself.
