Mangalore, Jul 6: The closing ceremony of the chess tournament began with a prayer song led by the staff of MCCS.

Raghuram Shetty, regional manager, SBI, RMO, Mangalore was the chief guest for the valedictory function which began at 5 pm in the school hall and gave away the Team Championship Prizes.

Vasantha Prabhu, manager of SBI, Yeyyadi honoured the board prize winners under 14 category.

Sr Ida Barboza, joint secretary of MCCS distributed the board prizes to under 16 Category. 

Principal Sr Melissa welcomed the gathering, Sr Juliana proposed the vote of thanks and Sylvia Benis compeered the programme.
