Kundapur, Jun 14: A coconut tree uprooted and fell on a house near Gangolli on Thursday June 13, causing huge loss of property.

As the taluk witnessed heavy rains, a coconut tree fell on the house belonging to G Rama Kharvi, located near Bunder, leaving the roof of the house completely damaged.

The revenue officials visited the spot and estimated the loss to be around Rs 1.5 lac.
