Mangalore: Group Fight at Kashi Math Ends in Cook's Death

Mangalore, Jan 1: In a late night clash that erupted at Kashi Math in Car Street here on Monday December 31, a cook at the Math was stabbed to death.

The deceased has been identified as Mahesh Prabhu (33).

Though the reason behind the clash is not known, it is said that two groups had been at loggerheads with each other for sometime. On Monday night, a fight arose between the groups, ending with the death of the cook.

Sources said that Mahesh was allegedly stabbed by a man identified as Nanda Kumar from Kerala, who was working at the Math. He was later arrested.

A case has been registered by the Mangalore north police and investigations are on.

    It is a rumour that Ramesh is the one who stabbed and threaten the other fellow and made him to accept the crime which he has not done. And this issue will be closed by giving money to police and political leader by the our big big business man from mangalore who are highly influencial...

    KRP.. Do not get upset.. If any order has a taliban mind set, one day same mind set damages internally within themselves... Look at the Pakistan internal issues which you can see daily in news coverage.. Learn good lessons and teach community to safeguard civil liberty.. As per constitution, respect secularisms than mentioning like GSB a institution. I do not understand what institution you are referring to. First understand meaning of institution..

    Narendra Shenoy mam,dont you think that your comments on GSB matters gone extreme with the context you referred to.Yes,I do think.Things are not so as you imagine.GSBs never ever support cruelity,even can not imagine such a situation in near future.It is better to know the 'truth'before ariving on any conclusion.Let us not be prejudicial from any angle.Your comments about a satvik community are painful to read which are not true.

    Is it spiritual centre of a hub of criminals. The Dwaitha school of thought has become a centre for all un enthical practices where all crooks can get along and do their research in " How to eradicate GSB ". Kashi Math under the great leader ship of our Great Great Guru has become a university which produces or protects the anti social elements like Ballu & Ramesh. No wonder on the recent developments which happend at the math premises, we can expect more in the coming days, because as is the leader so the followers. The leader who is supposed to preach and pracitse Dharma, when he fails to do justice to his Dharma, you can see the emergence or Avathara of people like Ramesh & Ballu who is supposed to be the reincarnation of "Hiranyaksha & Hiranya Kashipu"

    We never had witnessed such a heinous criminal act in GSB institution.I feel ashamed for the act.GSBs are known for displaying maturity in religious matters.Why this accused Nanda Kumar from Kerala was inducted in matt in Mangalore?Law should take its own course and criminal should be brought to book.May deceased soul of Mahesh Prabhu rest in peace.
