Kundapur: Govind Putran Koravadi Elected President of Kumbhashi Gram Panchayat

Kundapur, Dec 26: Govind Puthran Koravadi and Pushpalatha Kumbhashi have been elected as the president and vice-president, respectively, of Kumbhashi gram panchayat.

Two contestants were in the fray for the post of gram panchayat president. Puthran got six votes while Ramakrishna Herle could secure five votes.

Pushpalatha Kumbhashi was unanimously elected as the vice-president.

National highway assistant engineer Y Krishna Rao took part as the election officer.

ZP member Ganapathi T Shreeyan among others were present.
