Udupi: Mother of Sorrow Dramatic Assn Stages Tulu Play in Aid of School

Udupi, Dec 19: Mother of Sorrow Dramatic Association in aid of St Mary’s English Medium School, Kannarpady, here, recently staged a Tulu drama ‘Ajjig Erla Ijji’, in the Mother of Sorrows Church premises.

Parish priest and school correspondent Fr Fred Mascarenhas inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. President of the association, Boniface D’Souza, was present on the occasion.

Urban D’Mello, Darron Pinto, Sunita Fernandes, Sunil Fernandes, Lesley Carnelio, John Noronha, Micheal D’Souza, Edward D’Souza, Ronald Saldhana, Renel D’Souza, Shaila Fernandes, Donald Saldhana, members of the association organized the programme.

The Tulu Drama ‘Ajjig Erla Ijji’ written by Harish Padubridi is directed by Jayaraj S Kanchan. Music was given by Chandrakant Padubidri.

Office bearers of Mother of Sorrow Dramatic Association: Boniface D’Souza as president, Urban D’Mello as secretary, Ronald Saldhana as treasurer, Lesley Carnelio as vice president, and Shaila Fernandes as joint secretary.
