Kundapur, Dec 8:
The 8-day-old baby girl, who was found abandoned and taken care by Spoorthidhama, has been reunited with her mother on Friday December 7.

The baby belongs to Guddu Sidda of Hubli and Laxmi of Karwar.

As per the information received, Laxmi wept in front of Guard Company in Udupi asking to hand over her baby. The Guard Company then contacted Spoorthidhama, who in return called her and handed over the baby to her.

Speaking to media, Laxmi said that her husband Gudda Sidda was the main reason to separate the baby from her. She said that her husband would emotionally torture her and without her knowing separated the baby from her.

Even after reuniting the mother and the baby, the decision to legally hand over the baby will be made by Child Welfare Committee after examination said Keshav Koteshwar, CEO of Spoorthidhama.
