Mangalore: Free Medical Checkup Camp Organized by ICYM Balkunje

Mangalore, August 6:  The members of ICYM Balkunje have set yet another example through the organisation of medical checkup camp for the people of this small village in collaboration with Srinivas Medical College, Mukka.

The programme began  at 9.30 am at St Paul's Church hall with a formal address from Fr Hilary Lobo, the parish priest; Govind Bhat, lecturer in hindi ,Pompei college and Dr LL Joshua, superintendent of Srinivas Medical College.


 

The medical personnel from the college worked as a team to provide comprehensive health care to these people. Physicians from the department of general medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, paediatrics, ophthalmology, ENT, gynaecology and dermatology rendered their valuable services.

This kind act was appreciated by the 250 people who attended the camp and reaped the maximum benefit out of it. With the experience of this program, the youth members have aspired to conduct many more of such services to help people and to leave no stones unturned in their endeavors.
