Bantwal: Loot by fake ED officials - Stolen mobile phones left at victim's house

Bantwal, Jan 8: A group posing as Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials looted the house of Suleiman Haji, a businessman residing near Bolantur. The stolen mobile phones were later found in the house itself, according to reports.

The robbers had initially seized five mobile phones from the family. Investigations revealed that the SIM cards were removed and discarded on the third floor of the house, while the phones were left behind.

The police have collected information and are continuing their investigation.

    Even if you keep valuables or cash in any PSU bank the liabilities of the government are only to the extent of only 5L irrespective of the amount or value of the valuables!
