Mangalore: Illegal Cattle Transportation - 17 Buffalos Seized, 5 Arrested

Mangalore, Aug 5: As many as 17 buffalos were seized and five persons were arrested in an early morning raid at Bappanadu check post, Mulky here on August 5.

The arrested are Chayi, Alex, Ramesh, Anthony and Rafiq of Kerala

Acting on tip off, the police inspected a vehicle which was illegally transporting 17 buffalos from Kerala to Udupi, at around 4 am .

The raid operation was led by Mulky police inspector Bashir Ahmed.
