Bhubaneswar, Aug 2 (IANS): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Thursday hinted at an expansion of his ministry.
"The ministry expansion will take place today (Thursday). The new ministers will be sworn in at Raj Bhavan this afternoon," Patnaik told reporters. It was not clear if the chief minister would drop or replace some more ministers.
The number of the council ministers in the state had come down to 17 after Patnaik dropped two ministers following a failed coup by dissident leader and Rajya Sabha member Pyari Mohan Mohapatra May 29.
