Bantwal: Lorry Hits SP's Car, No Injuries

Bantwal, Jul 17: An ‘Eicher’ lorry rammed into a car ahead of it. Reportedly, Abhishek Goyal, DK superintendent of police was travelling in the car here in Soorikumer on Monday, July 17.

Consequently, the SP’s car hit another car that was moving in front of it. However, the passengers escaped from any injuries.

The lorry driver has been identified as Abdul Rahiman of Bannur, Puttur. It is reported that the accident occurred due to over speeding and careless driving.

It is learnt that SP Abhishek Goyal was travelling towards Nelyadi and the lorry was travelling towards Puttur carrying fish.The car in which the SP was traveling has damages on both sides.
