Chinese Man Held for Killing Five People


Beijing, Apr 16 (IANS): A man has been arrested in China for killing five people, including his daughter and former wife.

Police in Shandong province said Monday they have nabbed the man who killed five people, including his daughter, ex-wife and three former in-laws, in late January.

Mu Xiaoqiang, 40, who held a grudge against his ex-wife who divorced him, allegedly showed up at his former father-in-law's home with a knife and killed the five Jan 28, said an official.

Among the victims were Mu's daughter, his ex-wife and his ex-wife's parents and younger brother.

After the killing, Mu allegedly set the home on fire, the official said.
