Kanara Entrepreneurs unveils new chapter in Goa, marks milestone in fostering entrepreneurship

Margao, Jan 22: Kanara Entrepreneurs Global (KE) successfully launched its new chapter in Goa on Saturday, January 18, at Nanutel - Margao, Goa. With established chapters in Dubai and Bengaluru, KE continues to expand its reach, fostering entrepreneurial excellence across regions.

The event commenced with the arrival of Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrao. Archbishop of Goa and Daman. Baylon Vaz Sequeira, the incumbent president of KE Goa, welcomed the dignitaries and the audience, which included prominent dignitaries and senior bureaucrats from the state of Goa along with active KE members from Dubai, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Goa.

Following this, a curtain-raiser was launched by the KE global chairman along with the cardinal and the keynote speaker, showcasing the evolution of KE over the past two decades.

The keynote speaker, Blaise Costabir, MD of GMI Zarhak Moulders Pvt Ltd, a renowned entrepreneur from Goa, inspired the audience with his insights, highlighting that Kanara Entrepreneurs is set to make a meaningful impact on the lives of many entrepreneurs. He commended the dedication and passion of its members, who are driving a vision that will serve as a powerful catalyst in the entrepreneurial landscape.

Costabir encouraged the audience, stating, "Success comes when you have a clear vision of where you want to go." He urged aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams today, emphasising that taking action now fosters growth, resilience, and success in the journey ahead.

Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrao, addressed the audience, extending his congratulations to the founding members for their mission and goals in helping society contribute to the economic and social development of beloved Goa. He praised their efforts in building communities, creating jobs, supporting families, and contributing to society through hard work, integrity, and compassion. He wished great success for both current and future entrepreneurs as they embark on this exciting journey.

Furthermore, the dignitaries unveiled the souvenir ‘Nurturing Entrepreneurship’, which featured contributions from members across the globe. Lyndon D'Silva delivered the vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their active involvement in the grand launch.

KE Goa also celebrated the birthday of Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrao. The entire programme was seamlessly hosted by Sunita Rodrigues, the master of ceremonies, adding to the event's overall success. The programme concluded with entertainment and a live band performance, celebrating Goan traditions and culture.

KEL is a non-profit, mutual benefit corporation founded by individuals from the Kanara region. It has strived to encourage, support, guide, and nurture entrepreneurship for over 20 years.
