Karkala: Bypoll - Race Hots up, CM Sadananda Gowda Joins Campaign

Karkala, Mar 5: Chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda joined BJP's poll campaign for the forthcoming Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha bypoll beginning from Hosmar in Edu village, near here on Monday March 5.

Sadananda Gowda addressed the party activists at the poll campaign held at Laxmi Venkatesh Mandir premises, Hosmar, here and later canvassed in the neighbourhood.

He paid a visit to BJP office here and then proceeded to poll campaign held at Anantapadmanabha temple, Perdoor in Udupi taluk. He held campaigns at Kulala Sangh premises, Shivapady Umamaheshwari temple, Manipal and Kudaladeshasta Gowda Samaj premises.

He also paid a visit to Venkataramana temple, Udupi and dined at the residence of BJP activist Shyamprasad Kudva.

Some of the local Congress activists were enrolled as members in block BJP committee during his visit.

State legislative assembly deputy speaker MLA Yogish Bhat, Udupi – Chikmagalur BJP candidate Sunil Kumar, Karkala block BJP president Maniraj Shetty, Udupi district BJP president Uday Kumar Shetty, MLA Raghupati Bhat, Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, BJP local leaders Jagdish Adikari, Bahubali Prasad and others were present.

    JPz followers say hes done a lot for Udupi?!!!but no1 knows what he has done because he has not done anything!!whatever development started in Udupi was under mr.Vinay Kumar Sorake late.v.s.acharya mr.u.r sabhapathi and not by mr.jp!!and the development that was done by these leaders was well carried forward by mr.raghupathi bhat mr.yashpal suvarna and other able leaders and not by jp!!now mr.jayaprakash is even taking credits for nh-66 give me a break!!this was sanctioned by Atal Bihari vajpayeejiz goby during 1999-2004 during which mr.sorake was an mp!!the credit also goes to late vs acharya and our dc in the past mr.ponnuraj!!jayaprakash is a highly corrupt and selfish politician!!and the image of him being a people friendly politician is totally wrong he is a self and greedy man!!pls don't support him!!instead support BJP!!see the development in Udupi that the bjp has done over the years not only in Udupi but all over the state!!

    I request the BJPians to highlight the case of 4.5% reservation hyjacked by the UPA Government in favour of minorities from OBC quota of 22%.The issue should be exploited extensively from village level itself.Not to bother voilation of election code conduct any more.If any case for the voilation of elecion code,Central Law Minister Salman Khurshid's case should be guiding factor!!!

    Yeddy challenged to DVS to win Udupi-Chik MP bye @ his own and alternatively, Yeddy's friend preparing to dash all parts(SANS UDUPI-CHICKAMAGALIR) of Karnataka to address meeting in the name of Yeddy's Birthday.

    This caused panic in the BJP circle and therefore DVS mobilized all SANGHPARIVAR cadres to By Election constituency.This is a do or die challenge for DVS and if unfortunately looses the battle then it is unlikely DVS continuing in the CM office.

    This particular election is first time sans Yeddy's active participation hence BJP High Command @ it's toe to win by hook or crook.For public this election is certainly curios subject while for Yeddy and DVS a matter of political future.Meantime SDPI withdrawn in favor of JP to respect his honest service to the society.

    Off late, I guess DVS frequenting DK udupi like service bus.....No job in the State HQ??????

    For anyone mother tongue is next only to mother..

    The congressmen ignored our languages Kannada and Tulu since independence. As a result of that Tulu was listed in UNESCO's LANGUAGES LIST that are in verges of EXTINCTION...

    Soon after BJP Govt came into power understood this and took immediate steps to protect our proud language. It was due to the efforts of Srimaan Yeddyurappaji and Late V.S Acharya that TULU was included as subject in schools. Along with that Vishwa Tulu Sammelana was held in Ujire in 2009.

    Now a days Tulu movies are getting released in Bangalore. All credits to BJP..

    2nd Vishwa Kannada Sammelana was held in Belgaum after 25 years. 1st was held by Ramakrishna Hegde. No congress govt did this..

    The useless congress men never bothered about our languages, culture, history etc. Looting was their single goal. These congress men were ready to hold Italian and French Language Summit in Bangalore few years back to please their boss.

    Huge crowd, especially ladies...!! This itself predicts the result...

    I believe most of them are BHAGYALAXMI beneficiaries. Yeddy's people friendly schemes in the last 3.5 years has put BJP on front seat in this election. People will never ever forget BJP for securing their daughter education by depositing 20,000 Rs bond.


    The dirty congis have done nothing in last 60 years. They give saree, money, wines only during election times illegally. Useless rogues. They should be ashamed of themselves.
