Udupi: Sumanasa Kodavoor to Organize ‘Kannada Natakotsav’ from Jan 22

Udupi, Jan 21: The inaugural ceremony of the decennial celebrations of ‘Sumanasa Kodavoor’ ® and ‘Kannada Natakotsav’ will be held from Sunday January 22 to Tuesday January 24.

MLA Raghupati Bhat will inaugurate the celebrations on Sunday January 22.  The Natakotsav will be held in association with the district Kannada and culture department.
Kannada and culture department assistant director S H Shivarudrappa, Meenakshi Madhav, and Ganesh Baputota will be the chief guests on the occasion.

Stage artiste Sanjeev Salian will be felicitated on the same occasion.

The artistes of Kadrikattu Kota will stage Kannada play ‘Kulavembudu Kulavalla’ on Sunday.
Gerry Vincent Dias, Ranjan Kalkura, Gururaj Rao, and Sundar will be the chief guests at the stage programme on Monday January 23.

The artistes of Sumanasa Kodavoor ® will stage Bheeshmana Koneya Dinagalu, Kannada play on Monday.

Entrepreneur Pramod Madwaraj will deliver the valedictory address here on Tuesday January 24.
Gopalakrishna Nair and K T Poojary will be the chief guests on the occasion.

Sumanasa Kodavoor ® chairman Prakash G Kodavoor will preside over the programme on all the three days.

The artistes of Ranjana Kalavidaru will stage Kannada play ‘Antara’ on Tuesday.
The decennial celebration committee president Bhaskar Bachanabail, secretary Balakrishna Kodavoor, Prakash G Kodavoor, chief secretary Basuma Kodagu, honoray president M S Bhat, and vice-president Suresh Suvarna were present at the press meet.
