66th Maharashtra Day: Governor Radhakrishnan hoists tricolour at Raj Bhavan

Mumbai, May 1: Marking the 66th Maharashtra State Foundation Day, Governor C P Radhakrishnan hoisted the national flag at a solemn ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, on Thursday.

The governor saluted the tricolour as the National Anthem and the Maharashtra State song were played in the background, evoking a sense of pride and patriotism.

Present at the occasion were secretary to the governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, deputy secretary S Ramamoorthy, along with officers and staff of Raj Bhavan and members of the State police force.

The ceremony at Raj Bhavan was held in the spirit of dignity and simplicity, commemorating the formation of the state of Maharashtra and paying tribute to its cultural and historical legacy.
