The institution’s Pre-University College (SAPUC) is a beacon of holistic education, drawing students from across the region. Currently, the college is home to approximately 4,500 students across 60+ academic divisions, mentored by 150 highly qualified and experienced faculty members. SAPUC consistently delivers outstanding academic results, with noteworthy performances in the II PU Board Examinations. The College has once again upheld its legacy of academic distinction by recording an exceptional overall pass percentage of 99% in the II PUC Board Examinations 2025. Demonstrating exemplary performance, fourteen students secured positions within the Top 10 State Ranks, bringing laurels to the institution across all streams. In the Commerce stream, Hanshitha Shetty emerged as the topper with a stellar score of 595 marks. The Science stream was led by Disha Narayan, who secured 595 marks, while in the Arts stream, G Lavanya and Thafhima Fathima shared top honours with 590 marks each. Out of 2,183 students who appeared for the examination, an impressive 788 students achieved Distinction, and 1,255 students were awarded First Class, reflecting the sustained academic rigour and dedication fostered within the institution.

The college has established a collaboration with Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), a prestigious institute renowned for its nationwide presence and exceptional track record in preparing students for success in JEE (Mains & Advanced) and NEET.
CET/NEET – Special integrated batches
The college facilitates specialised coaching, led by its faculty, to prepare students for CET and NEET. On-campus training is conducted by experienced and esteemed faculty members, including guest lecturers, complemented by regular mock tests to enhance exam readiness.
Additionally, the college has partnered with reputed institutions to offer coaching for NDA, NATA, CLAT, IPM, and CA & CS Foundation programmes.
NDA- National Defence Academy
Coaching for the National Defence Academy entrance exam is offered in collaboration with Bangalore Defence Academy, equipping students with the skills and knowledge required to excel. The programme is open to students across Science, Commerce & Arts streams, providing a comprehensive foundation for aspiring candidates.
NATA - National Aptitude Test in Architecture
Training for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is offered in collaboration with DQ Labs, Mangalore, providing comprehensive preparation for students aspiring to pursue B.Tech in Architecture.
Coaching for CA Foundation – Collaboration with KVC Academy
The college offers a structured two-year programme led by KVC Academy, a reputed CA/CS coaching institute in Mangalore for CA/CS training.
CLAT– A Common Law Admission Test - Collaboration with T.I.M.E.
This course is designed to prepare students from all academic streams for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), facilitating entry into prestigious National Law Universities. The programme provides extensive training, including detailed study plans, mock tests, and expert mentorship, equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the CLAT examination.
IPM - Integrated Programme in Management – Collaboration with T.I.M.E
The IPMAT is an aptitude test administered by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak for admission to their five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), offering a dual-degree qualification (Bachelor’s + Master’s) from the Indian Institutes of Management.
This two-year Programme cultivates the essential competencies required to excel in IPMAT while also preparing students for highly competitive entrance examinations of management institutes and universities across the country.
Coaching for CSEET – Collaboration with KVC Academy
The Programme provides coaching to students preparing them for CSEET (CS Executive Entrance Test), the mandatory qualifying examination for the Company Secretary (CS) course conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
