Mumbai resident Ganesh Narayan Poojary of Mulki origin passes away at 50

Mumbai, Apr 13: Ganesh Narayan Poojary (50), a well-known resident of Vakola, Santacruz East, Mumbai, breathed his last on Saturday night at a private hospital in Powai, following a brief illness. He was a native of Athikaribettu Kolakadi, Mulki, and was residing at A-501, Panchasheel CHS Ltd., Dhobi Ghat Lane, Vakola Bridge.

Ganesh was formerly employed in a private firm in Mumbai and was known for his humble nature and close ties with the community. His untimely demise has left family, friends, and well-wishers in deep grief.

He is survived by his mother, wife, one brother Naresh Poojary, brother-in-law Surendra A Poojary of Saicare Logistics, two sisters, and other close relatives.

The funeral was held on Sunday, April 13, at the Hindu Cemetery in Teacher’s Colony, Bandra East. Several community dignitaries and well-wishers attended the final rites to pay their respects.

Among those who offered their condolences and attended the funeral were Billawar Association Mumbai president Harish G Amin, honorary president LV Avin, BCCI chairman NT Poojary, director Karnire Gangadhar Amin, Bharat Bank chairman Suryakanta Jaya Suvarna, director Bhaskar M Salyan, Dr Santosh Rai, Anil Salyan (Aahar), Dr Vikram Shetty, and Jitesh Gowda.

NCP leader Laxman C Pujari and many others expressed their heartfelt condolences and paid tributes to the departed soul.

    Ganesh, Anna as he was fondly called by all, was very helpful to all those who approached him. His connect with BMC helped shop and business owners. His sudden untimely demise has left a huge void to his family in particular and to all his friends in general. We pray that his Soul attain Moksh and his family get the courage to accept this loss.
