Panaji, Feb 24: AAP MLA Capt. Venzy Viegas has firmly ruled out any possibility of joining the Congress, even if offered a ticket.
Emphasizing his commitment to political change, Viegas stated that his work in the current term would leave a lasting impact on Goa’s political landscape. "I entered politics to bring about change, and whatever I accomplish during this tenure will be remembered in history," he asserted.
Addressing the prospects of alliances in the 2027 Goa elections, Viegas highlighted the need for fresh leadership. "If we do not form an alliance, how do we plan to win Goa? The key to victory lies in introducing new, credible faces," he said.

He accused Congress of resisting coalition efforts despite the public's growing demand for a united opposition. "Today, the people of Goa want an alliance for the 2027 elections, but Congress remains unwilling," Viegas stated, signaling a push for a new political strategy in the state.
