Mangaluru, Jan 26: Expert Pre-University College, Valachil, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great fervor. Ankush N Nayak, IT director, Expert Group of Institutions, unfurled the National Flag, marking the beginning of the ceremony.
In his address, Nayak emphasized the significance of the Indian Constitution's core ideology, which stresses the importance of citizens being aware of their duties towards the country, in addition to their rights. He explained Article 51A(h), which highlights the fundamental duty of every citizen to cultivate scientific temper, humanism, and a spirit of inquiry and reform.
Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal, Gurudath N, coaching head, Anitha P Shetty, chief resident mentor, Prajna programme director were present on the occasion. Kalpitha D, a first PU student, welcomed the gathering, proposed a vote of thanks and hosted the programme.
