Visit to Kala Parba art and craft exhibition
Total of 53 students from the Heritage and Craft Clubs visited the Kala Parba Art and Craft Exhibition at Kadri Park on January 11. The event featured traditional and modern art forms, including paintings, sculptures, textiles, and handmade crafts. Students interacted with artists and explored their creative processes, making the visit both enjoyable and educational.
Participation in Karavali Sahodya exhibition
Class 6 students visited the Karavali Karnival Exhibition at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara School, Ashoknagar, on January 11, 2024. The event complemented Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, focusing on Ladakh and Karnataka's cultural heritage. Students enjoyed cultural performances and explored exhibits, including models of iconic monuments, traditional foods, and regional art forms, gaining insights into India's unity in diversity. Eight students of classes IX and VII participated in the Karnival by presenting 25 items of Karnataka’s vibrant Dravidian heritage on the topics ‘Cuisine of Karnataka’.
Educational trip to Mangaluru head post office
Class 4 students visited the head post office in Pandeshwar on January 15. Accompanied by their teachers, they learned about the postal system, including mail collection, PIN codes, postcards, and stamps. A guided tour provided a hands-on experience of postal operations, leaving students fascinated and well-informed.
Visit to Mega Medical Exhibition – Prerana ’25
Total of 176 students of class 7 students attended the Mega Medical Exhibition – Prerana ’25 at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte on January 10. The exhibition featured stalls on microbiology, forensic science, and anatomy, with real organ displays captivating the students. Interactions with student doctors enriched the experience, fostering curiosity about the world of medical science.
