Mangaluru: Street Food Fiesta Season-3 officially launched in city

Mangaluru, Jan 19: The third edition of the much-anticipated Street Food Fiesta was officially launched at a grand stage near the Brahmashree Narayana Guru Circle in the city. The event, organized by Kudla Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Dakshina Kannada district administration, was inaugurated in the presence of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and MLA Vedavyas Kamath.

Adding to the excitement, the famous Dolly Chaiwala prepared tea in his signature style on the inaugural stage and served it to the dignitaries. The large crowd that had gathered eagerly took selfies with him. Being a weekend, families turned up in great numbers on the very first day, visiting various food stalls and celebrating the occasion.

The organizers expressed their delight over the overwhelming response from food lovers on the opening day. They announced that the Street Food Fiesta will run until January 22, featuring daily evening cultural programs alongside a traditional food festival showcasing the culinary styles of Tulunadu, Karnataka, and different parts of the country.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by mayor Manoj Kumar, deputy mayor Bhanumathi, Giridhar Shetty (honorary president of Kudla Cultural Foundation), Diwakar Pandeshwar (president), and other notable figures including Naresh Shenoy, Yatish Baikampady, Ashwith Kottari, Naresh Prabhu, Jagadish Kadri, and several BJP corporators.

Renowned host Kiran Shenoy anchored the program and delivered the vote of thanks.
