Mumbai: Pejawar Seer gives discourse, seeks support for Math initiatives

Mumbai, Dec 23: Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji, the seer of Udupi Sri Pejawar Math, has been in Mumbai for three days. On Sunday, he addressed devotees at the Mumbai branch of Pejawar Math in Prabhat Colony, Santacruz East, and appealed for donations to support the Math's social, educational initiatives and Goshala operations.

Madhwesha Bhajan Mandali, Santacruz, along with other groups, performed bhajans during the event. The Swamiji blessed all the devotees. Dr Renjala Ramadasa Upadhyaya, the administrative officer of the Santacruz branch, performed pooja. Avinash Shastri and Shyamala Shastri, honorary treasurers of the Sri Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha Foundation, conducted the Swamiji’s paada pooja.

Dr A S Rao, president of the Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha Foundation, Asha A Rao, office bearers, members, and devotees including Parel Srinivasa Bhat, Math manager Srihari Bhat, and Niranjan Gogte, participated in the event. The seer was honoured traditionally by the gathering.
