Mangalore, Dec 15: Students and parents are the treasure of an institute, through their service they can be the guiding lights in the society said Sr Marie Lyta, the correspondent of Sacred Hearts’ High School, Kulshekar at the Prize Distribution Day programme here on Wednesday December 14.

 

Today’s society has much strength at the same time there are problems too therefore students are advised to take the guidance from the teachers and parents in order to have a strong foundation for their future life, she added.

Fr Melwyn OCD in his address stressed on the value based life of the student. Mariamma Thomas encouraged the students for their best performance in the studies

Pratheeksha Amin of VIII Std was honoured for her best performance in the classical dance.

Richard lobo, Lioness Club president Alice Lobo and William Lobo gave away the prizes. Santa Cruz Convent Superior Sr Lisa, PTA vice president Sathyavathi were also present on the occasion.

Sr Cicilia Mendonca welcomed the gathering and Felix Saldanha compered.
