Mangalore: Police Bust Prostitution Racket, Arrest Nine

Mangalore, Dec 9: Kadri police on Thursday December 8 raided a lodge near Jyoti in Balmatta and busted a prostitution racket. Nine were arrested while two others fled the spot.

The arrested are Sandeep alias Prakash, Amir Hussain, Maxie Alwyn Rodrigues, Mohammed Rizwan, Seetaram, Diana, Jolly Jadhav, Rona and Dinky. Srinivas Choudhary and Anil managed to give a slip. Apparently, the two were acting as the middlemen.

The police also confiscated laptops, mobile phones and two cars.

Investigations are on.
