Kerala organizations offer free medical treatment for Ishwar Malpe's children

Udupi, Oct 16: Kerala-based organizations have come forward to provide free medical treatment for the children of diver and social worker Ishwar Malpe.

The children, Karthik (23) and Brahmi (7), have been admitted to the Multi-Specialty Meitra Hospital in Kozhikode, Kerala, for necessary treatments. Both children are suffering from serious health issues, requiring expensive medical treatments costing several lacs of rupees.

Ishwar Malpe played a crucial role in recovering the body of Arjun, who drowned in a river following a landslide in Shiroor. His efforts gained widespread recognition and admiration in Kerala.

Moved by the family's struggles, local organizations in Kerala reached out to support them. The children are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, with a strong belief that they will recover. The representatives of organizations have assured of committed to covering the expenses irrespective of costs.

The people of Udupi and other coastal areas have also extended considerable support to the family. However, there has been no assistance from the government so far, Ishwar mentioned. "I am currently in Kerala for my children's treatment," he added.
