DCICAI conducts event on ‘The AI Advantage: A CFOs New Playbook’

Doha, Sep 29: The Doha Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently hosted an event titled ‘The AI Advantage: A CFOs New Playbook’ at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha on September 25, which was attended by more than 150 attendees, underscoring the growing interest in the intersection of finance and technology.

CA Arun Somanath, secretary, opened the meeting and chairperson, CA Kamlesh Tibrewal, drawing attention to the chapter’s upcoming flagship annual conference ‘Startup Surge: Igniting Innovation, Transforming Future’ to be held on 17th & 18th October 2024.

Keynote speaker Shobha Singh, director, business development, Strategic Engagements & XOB (ECEMEA), Oracle and CA Lokendra, director, business development & strategy, Oracle, gave insightful explanation and presentation into how CFOs are leveraging AI & innovations to gain a strategic edge. They explored the evolving role of CFOs, highlighting how AI, generative AI are driving efficiency, optimizing decision-making, and unlocking new growth opportunities.

In a special moment during the event, chapter treasurer, CA Dewaki Nandan felicitated the newly qualified chartered accountants who had successfully passed their exams from Doha Exam Centre, presenting them with token of appreciation.

Chapter secretary, CA Kishore Alex concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees, speakers, and sponsors for their contributions and continuous support towards the event’s success.
