Mangalore, Nov 22: After Lancy Noronha's successful Konkani musical nite presented in Dubai in May 2011, Lancy and his troupe are set to perform in the city.
The first show is being organized at Don Bosco Hall on Sunday December 18 under the banner of the Catholic Sabha Kelari and the other one at Kirem Church premises on Christmas evening.
Lancy will be supported by Joseph Mathias, Dubai-based entrepenuer and singer.
Some of the popular artistes from the city will participate in the musical evenings. They are Dr Prasanth Raj, Anitha Samson, Rony Crasta, V V Santos, Shyna Noronha, Lanita Noronha, and Jerina.

One of UAE”s top music directors, hailing from Goa, Ramiro Mascarenhas along with Lancy's brother musician Vijay Noronha will arrange the music.
Keny, the popular singer from Mumbai, and comedian duo Jerry-Joseph will be the special attraction at the show.
‘Naach Sobann” troupe will provide some dance performances. The show will be compered by Roshan D’Silva from Dubai.
Lancy Noronha
Talented Lancy has been in the music field for over 27 years. He has collected awards and prizes for participation form his college years in Konkani Natak Sabha and KCO – Abu Dhabi competitions.
A former member of ‘Brother Beat Group’, he has participated in a variety of musical programs in India and abroad. A regular performer in Dubai under ‘Shylan Beat Group’ and providing music for various shows organized by ‘Daiji Dubai’, ‘Daiji Rangmandir’, ‘Konkan Yuva’, ‘Ferarites’, ‘Katapadi Konkans’, ‘Udyavarites’, ‘Omzoorche Dive’ and others. He attributes his success to his uncle Ivan Noronha.
Joseph Mathias
The soft –humble spoken and successful businessman from Dubai Joseph Mathias hails from a musical background. His flair for signing began by being a member of Kuppepadav and Bendore church choirs. This was further strengthened by participation in Konkan Natak Sabha and Kalasampath competitions. He has lent his voice to ‘30th Wilson Olivera Nite’, ‘Stan Nite’, and ‘Mogachim Lahran’ in Dubai.
The tickets for this event are available at Jerosa Company-Milagres, Favorite Collections-Bendore, Jai Hind Stores-Valencia, and at Ancilla Bakery-Kulshekar. A lucky draw will be held on ticket numbers and the winner will take away a home theatre system.
