Sullia, Jan 21: A school vehicle got stuck in a drain near Gurumpu on Aletti Road in Sullia town while transporting children to school on Monday January 20. The incident occurred when the vehicle, heading from Bandadka Kolcharu side, veered into the drain dug up for Jal Jeevan Mission works.

While the bus sustained damages in the incident, no harm came to the children on board.

According to locals, the mishap resulted from a dug-up area along the concrete road, created during pipeline installation work for drinking water.
