Udupi: Quess Corp Ltd wins Kasturba Hospital Corporate Cricket League 2025 trophy

Udupi, Jan 20: The Kasturba Hospital Corporate Cricket League (KH-CCL 2025), a thrilling three-day cricket tournament, concluded on January 19 with Quess Corp Ltd emerging as champions. The event, held at Kasturba Hospital Manipal from January 17, brought together teams from corporate entities, banks, medical associations, hospitals, and media organizations, fostering sportsmanship and camaraderie.

The valedictory ceremony featured prominent dignitaries, including dr anand venugopal, COO of Teaching Hospital MAHE Manipal, as the chief guest. Also present were dr padmaraj hegde, dean of KMC Manipal, dr avinash shetty, medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, and sri sridhar ganeshan, station director of Adani Power Ltd.

Dr avinash shetty lauded the participants for their spirited performances, highlighting the role of such events in strengthening corporate and community ties.

Quess Corp Ltd claimed the KH-CCL 2025 trophy, while Adani Power Ltd secured the runner-up position. Individual awards were also presented:

  • Ganesh: Man of the Series
  • Sukesh: Best Batsman
  • Joy: Best Bowler

An exhibition match between Kasturba Hospital Doctors XI and Organizers XI was held earlier in the day, adding to the excitement.

The KH-CCL 2025 successfully combined the spirit of competition with community engagement, and Kasturba Hospital Manipal anticipates hosting similar events in the future to promote health and sports.
