Udupi: Student orientation programme 2024-25 to be held at SMVITM on Sep 1

Udupi, Oct 29: Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and management (SMVITM), Bantakal will be organizing an orientation programme for the fresh batch of students joining engineering stream for the academic year 2024-25 on Sunday, September 1 at 10 am at the institution open air auditorium.

Former Lokayukta and former judge of Supreme Court Justice Santosh Hegde, will be the chief guest for the event and he will be addressing the newly joining students and their parents on the topic ‘Roles of Students in Protecting the Societal Values’. The vice president of Shri Sode Vadiraja Math Education trust, P Srinivas Tantry will be presiding over the function.

Rathna Kumar, secretary SSVMET, will be addressing the students and parents regarding the measures taken by the college in overall development of the students joining SMVITM. The event will be followed by the lunch.
