Mangaluru, Aug 23: Srinivasa University's Department of MBA organized MANEGMA - 2024 Hybrid one-day national level conference on “Reconnect and Reimage: Strategies for Achieving Success in Management, IT, Social Sciences and Humanities”, held on August 23 at Srinivasa University Gallery Hall.
The conference was presided over by chancellor of Srinivasa University Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao. In his speech, he emphasized the university's aim to foster more research and innovation. Students were encouraged to think independently and strive for new achievements in life. He advised the students to be self-reliant, improve their public speaking skills through personal effort.
The chief guest of the program, pro chancellor of Srinivasa University Dr A Srinivas Rao spoke about the importance of strategy in all management processes. A good strategy is critical to the success of any project and should apply to social service initiatives as well, he said. He recommended consultative approach for smooth processes and successful outcomes.
Another chief guest, director of KCCI and TAVADEC Industries Private Limited and partner of Chiramit Precision India, Amit Ramachandra spoke and emphasized the value of education in Dakshina Kannada district. He noted that the presence of renowned educational institutions in the region reflects the community's commitment to education. Businessmen collaborate with talented individuals from these institutions, which contributes to mutual success, he said.
Srinivasa University research professor and mentor Dr Narayana Kayarkatte congratulated the management and organizers of the conference for the innovative theme of "Reconnection and Reimagining." He emphasized the need to create a beautiful India in the electronic age and said that work should be done to make India a world Guru.
Srinivasa University vice chancellor Dr Satyanarayana Reddy wished the conference success. Srinivasa University development chancellor Dr Ajay Kumar, research coordinator Dr Shailasree V T, program coordinator Dr Kavyashree and Dr Sujaya H. were present.
Program organizer Prof Sagar Srinivas briefed the conference. Institute of Management and Commerce dean, Dr Venkatesh Amin, welcomed the gathering. Dean of Institute of Port Shipping and Logistics Management Dr Sonia Noronha proposed a vote of thanks. The program was hosted by students Rupali, Nutana and Harshita.
