Udupi: Lady Commits Suicide, Body Donated to Hospital

Udupi, Nov 14: Sandhya Hegde (30), daughter of Prabhakar Hegde, retired engineer living in Kota village in the taluk, committed suicide by jumping into a well near her home on Sunday November 13.

Reportedly, she had been suffering from depression since the last some years. She had wished in advance through a letter, for donating her body to KMC Medical College Hospital for research.

The parents wanted to fulfill her wish by entrusting her body to the above hospital. A case was registered in Kota police station.
