Bhatkal: Zilla Parishad Organizes Free Internet Training Camp

Bhatkal, Nov 5: A three day Internet training camp was organized by Zilla Parishad under the government scheme for Kannada and Urdu medium students here at Anjuman Engineering College (AEC) and Anjuman Institute of Technology & Management (AITM) recently.

In his inaugural speech principle of AEC Dr Noor Ahmed spoke about the apt use of internet and the training given to the students.

In his address AITM principle Zafirullah Kokatnoor said in this age of global convergence computer education is as important as primary education and government is facilitating computer education for students through training programmes, which students must utilize.

TMC president said that proper utilization of such government schemes and hard work in the earlier life can help students succeed. He also urged the students to use facilities given by government, who is also installing computers in schools.

At least 480 students from twelve schools participated in the camp, where in six sessions of three hours were held with 80 students per batch.

MLA J D Naik, TMC chief officer Jayshree Moger, and Anjuman general secretary Jukaku Raheem also spoke on the occasion. K L Shanbhag compered and Santosh delivered vote of thanks.
