Bangalore, Nov 2: Bomb disposal squads, dog squads and police were pressed into action after Karnataka state high court on Wednesday November 2 received a bomb threat call.
On Wednesday morning an unidentified person called up the control room of commisionerate office and claimed that a bomb had been placed in the high court.
High alert has been issued in the area and security men have cordoned off the court premises. However, nothing suspicious has been found and it is suspected that it was hoax call.
Though intense search operation was carried out, proceedings inside the court went on without a hitch. Yeddyurappa’s bail plea application related to denotification case for which he is in jail, is being examined by the single bench of the high court.
