Mangaluru, Apr 8: OPEN House of the academic year 2023–24 for classes 1–8 was held in Lourdes Central School on April 6. Commencing the session, the principal and staff invoked divine blessings, setting the tone for a harmonious gathering. Fr Robert D’Souza, the principal, delivered an introductory note, urging teachers to engage parents with optimism.

The school ambiance exuded warmth and positivity, with placards, banners, and captivating captions adorning bulletin boards and classroom blackboards, extending a heartfelt welcome to parents and students. Soft background music filled the air, enhancing the serene atmosphere throughout the day.

In the grand expanse of the school's lobby, welcome board adorned with the art work of the students caught the attention of the parents, school uniform was also provided and an attractive book exhibition by Sapna Book House was put up at the stage in the school ground.

Parents interacted with the teachers to discuss the progress of their wards. Class teachers spent time with the parents of each student, apprised them of the progress of their ward, and handed over the progress card. Parents also collected the books for the following academic year.

The open house session ended with a smile on the faces of children and parents, signifying a positive approach towards the curriculum of the next academic year.
