Mangaluru, Mar 25: The youth, who was riding the bike that hit a road divider at Natekal on Sunday evening, succumbed to injuries on Monday March 25. 

The rider, Yatish Devadiga, was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries on Monday. 

Srinidhi (29), the pillion rider and wife of Deekshit from Bondel, had tragically lost her life on the spot. 

The accident transpired due to the rider's excessive speed, leading to the loss of control over the two-wheeler, ultimately colliding with the road divider. Srinidhi, who tragically lost her life in the accident, leaves behind two children. Yatish Devadiga, the rider, was the only son of his parents.

Mangaluru, Mar 25: A tragic accident occurred on Sunday March 24 near Natekal on the outskirts of the city, resulting in the loss of a woman's life and serious injuries to another individual.

The deceased woman, identified as Srinidhi (29), was the wife of Deekshith and a resident of Bondel. She was riding pillion on a bike driven by Yathish Devadiga, who is a relative of Srinidhi. Yathish sustained serious injuries in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The accident took place as the duo was returning from a housewarming ceremony of their relative in Mudipu. Near Natekal Green Ground, the rider lost control of the bike, leading to a collision with the divider. Despite medical efforts, Srinidhi tragically succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The Mangaluru south traffic police have registered a case regarding this incident.
