Bengaluru, Feb 28: BJP opposition leader R Ashok has declared that the party will continue its struggle till the persons who shouted pro-Pakistan slogans in Vidhana Soudha are arrested.
Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru on Wednesday, he said the ruling Congress party should be ashamed and condemned the government’s inaction on the anti-national persons who shouted Pakistan slogans in Vidhana Soudha after the Congress candidate Syed Nasir Hussain was declared elected in the Rajya Sabha elections from the State Assembly on Tuesday.
The BJP leader condemned the government for not taking any action on the incident which happened in Vidhana Soudha.
He demanded that the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should have convened an emergency meeting of the State Cabinet and announced the government’s decision to punish the culprits.
“BJP will tolerate anything but not anti-nationals,’’ he said and asked Congressmen not to justify the pro-Pakistan sloganeers.
He declared that the party will continue its struggle till the pro-Pakistan sloganeers are arrested.
The BJP leader said the party will submit a complaint to the Governor and demand dismissal of the government.
