Bengaluru, Feb 28: There is no question of protecting those who shouted po-Pakistan slogans in Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday after the Rajya Sabha elections results were announced, declared Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday.
Speaking to media persons at Vidhana Soudha, he said the State Government has sought a report from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to verify the opposition allegation that pro-Pakistan slogans were shouted reportedly by the supporters of newly elected Congress Rajya Sabha member Naseer Hussain.
He said, “If the FSL report proves that the slogan raised in favour of Pakistan is true, serious action will be taken in this regard. There is no question of protecting those who raised slogans in favour of Pakistan.”
Siddaramaiah said strict action will be taken against whoever shouted slogans against the nation, he said.
